Mainframe Developer - Contract - 3 months - South Africa - Johannesburg
My client is looking for a senior Mainframe developer based in Johannesburg for a 3 month contract the client
Key role responsibility
1) Candidate should have Mainframe background with hands-on experience in batch and online processing (CICS)
2) Working knowledge on SDLC process with good estimation experience is mandatory.
3) Strong Analysis, design, development and testing experience in Object Star on Mainframe.
4) Experience on Batch or Online simplification, MiPS reduction activities, experience on
Performance tuning on Object star related application is desired
5) Good documentation skills in terms of documenting the requirement based on inputs from customer and the solution
6) Aware of peer review processes - should be able to review work done by other team members to ensure quality of deliverable
7) Good communication and stakeholder management skills
8) Willingness to impart knowledge related to Object Star with the rest of the team as needed
