Mainframe Application Developer
Experience:
Developer/Senior Developer experience in Mainframe technologies, preferably in the insurance industry space.
Areas of knowledge/Skills:
- Good knowledge of:
- Cobol
- DB2
- CICS
- JCL
- MQ Series
- SQL, Job Scheduling
- Knowledge of version control - preferably Changeman
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of issues/change requests raised by business team
- Prepare technical design for the requests
- Prepare good documentation of solution, testing scenario
- Perform all development activities for implementing the solution
- Perform unit testing, integration testing and document the test results
- Prepare road map for technical implementation
Personal competencies:
- Quick learner
- Strong problem solving ability
- Good knowledge of Dutch, should understand French
- Exact Work Location: Brussels, Belgium
