Machinist Job

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in NEWARK, DE.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manufactures parts in accordance with safety, quality and production best practices and requirements.
- Operates lathes, grinders, lathes, milling machines, CNC machinery, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures.
- Performs minor maintenance functions within the operating area and within level of expertise.
- Maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned by manager and/or supervisor.
- This position is required to work shifts. Shift schedules are subject to change as determined by business and production needs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two to five (2 - 5) years CNC machine shop experience.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend Standard Practice documents and other written instructions.
- Good attendance record and demonstrated reliability.
