Machine Operator I Job

MACHINE OPERATORS needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with our client located in DEER PARK, TX

- CNC Machining Skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Sets up and operates equipment such as lathes, drills, milling machines, surface grinders, saws, etc. using pre-established processes and programs for production of parts and tools
- Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure in-process or finished product matched specified tolerances Strong acumen with standard machinist metrology devices
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance for machine shop equipment per internal and OEM procedures
- Complete documentation for tracking of time and cost related to development activities
- Perform design consultation for manufacturability and to ensure parts are completed when required
- Comply with EHS regulations and policies Participate in teams to drive improvements in processes and documentation
- Support new product development requirements by performing assigned work as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School Diploma or local equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of machine shop experience
- Ability to perform detail oriented work and complete projects on time Basic computer knowledge

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

- Paid Training: 4-6 weeks on Day Shift (7am - 3:30pm) after the training period, will be moved to 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am)
