Machine Maintenance

SHIFT:   Must be flexible - 2nd or 3rd Shift.  Overtime / on-call responsibilities. 
Must have experience with PLC's and/or Electrical troubleshooting.

PAY:   $15 /hour minimum

SUMMARY:
Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Capable of using an arc welder.
- Capable of using a mig welder.
- Thorough understanding of hand tools.
- Able to operate lift truck.
- Capable of installing and threading pipe.
- Capable of soldering.
- Capable of fabricating with metal.
- Understands basic Electricity.
- Understands Basic Hydraulic Theory.
- Understands Basic Pneumatics.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Lay out, assemble,install,and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
- Possess the ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics and trouble shoot hydraulic systems.
- Possess the ability to read and understand electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical control circuits.
