Job Description: Successful candidate needed to work as part of a rapid business innovation team to develop next-generation wearable sensor applications working closely with a multiple business groups across the organization. Candidate will develop machine learning algorithms to map sensor data into Embedded applications to run on a new class of wearable devices.

TASKS

- Develop insight on the underlying application characteristics driving selection of relevant machine learning features
- Develop computationally efficient feature extraction algorithms
- Develop algorithms to select the optimal set of features
- Prototype machine learning algorithms for resource constrained platforms

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms used in machine learning
- Experience developing Machine Learning algorithms
- Proficiency in intermediate level statistics
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing techniques
- Master's degree or a Ph. D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education with emphasis in machine learning
- Min of 5 years post-graduation experience
- Experience programming with C and/or Python
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Strong Python and Core Libraries: Pandas, Scikit-Learn, MatplotLib, IPython Notebook, etc.
