Machine Configurator

This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of new product Bill of Material. Will be responsible for machine configuration layout concept development, top down modelling structure development, BOM construction and management. Will facilitate and lead design reviews, and complete other tasks as designated by the engineering team lead. The configurator will not be designing parts or systems, but rather will support the development process as well work with other teams as they have need to interact with the BOM (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Support, etc).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage BOM
- Lead Design Reviews
- Manage TeamCenter BOM
- Cost/Weight roll-ups
- Configuration Management
- Top-Level layout work and top-down modelling
- 3D Visualization support
- Other assignments as required

SKILLS:

It is highly desirable that the candidate have previous Customer experience in NPI and/or Customer data systems. A four year degree is not required for this position, but multiple years of experience in machine configuration and design support work will be highly desirable.
