ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a new role within the mechanical and electrical design section of RAL Estates and Operations, formerly Building Projects Group. A need has arisen for CAD support to help bring the building services record plans up to date and provide support to on-going design for a variety of science based design projects, expected to work as part of an in house design and construction management team.

Further responsibilities will include:

LIST OF DUTIES/WORK PROGRAMME/RESPONSIBILITIES
Management, maintenance and updating of the current RAL drawn building services records system, including:- preparation of schematic drawings

Dealing with enquiries for record drawings from internal and external clients

Providing record drawings to internal and external clients

Incorporation of as built changes to record drawings

Providing CAD support to in house designers (Engineers and Technicians) including:
Production of CAD drawings and details as necessary for design development, client presentation, tender issue and construction

Attending site meetings when required

Attend other meetings as required including staff, etc.

Any other duty reasonably requested by line manager and above
