Lync SME/Exchange Specialist - Investment Banking

Lync Support SME required by large Investment Bank, based in London to work within the bank's Messaging Team to support the infrastructure environment.

You will ideally have a few years experience supporting Lync 2010 in an enterprise environment, ideally within an Investment Bank or large financial institution. You will also require Vantage (Actiance) compliance software or other compliance software in relation to IM products. Scripting skills (PowerShell), knowledge of Lync integration with voice (PBX). Lync troubleshooting tools (Snooper, Logging Tool, network tracing tools).

Within this role your responsibilities will include supporting the Lync 2010 environment, general infrastructure support and maintenance (hotfixes, security patches), Lync client escalation support, escalations to vendor and engineering, assisting with deployment and migration to Lync 2013 and deploying Lync Enterprise Voice pilot across the EMEA region on Lync 2010. Deployment of Edge Servers (federation) and troubleshoot call quality/performance issues. You will also need to have experience of proactive problem management, capacity management and disaster recovery testing.
