Lync Engineer - Level 3 Support - UC - Contract

LYNC ENGINEER - LEVEL 3 SUPPORT - UC - CONTRACT

My Global client has opportunity for a Level 3 Lync Engineer on a initial 3 month contract. As the Lync engineer you will be responsible for providing a service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through reactively and proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions. The L3 Support Engineer focuses on third line support for medium to high complexity incidents, whilst allocating, monitoring and tracking resolution of all other incidents escalated to senior levels of support.

The Level 3 support engineers may also undertake the role of 'designated engineer' to a specific account or service where they will undertake additional proactive technical and service management duties.

- 10 years, or more, of experience in working in a medium to large enterprise or service provider environment
- 3 years or more supporting an Enterprise MS OCS/Lync environment and its associated infrastructure, acting as technical specialist in MS OCS/Lync
- 5 years, or more, experience of supporting media infrastructure, including networking, IPT, video conferencing and associated protocols, ie SIP
- Knowledge of SBA's (Survivable Branch Appliances), SBC's (Session Boarder Controllers), CAC (Call Admission Control) and Lync supported desk & conference devices would be advantageous
