LYNC Administrator

Microsoft Lync Administrator is needed for a long term contract with an international IT organisation at their new office in Valencia, Spain. Your role will be to provide on-going support and to implement service enhancements within the Lync and messaging environment. This is an English speaking role but knowledge of Spanish will be a bonus.

Lync Admin work includes:

- Support, maintain and optimise the deployed Microsoft Lync infrastructure.
- Resolve incidents, implement and participate on the problem resolutions.
- Design, develop and deploy Lync and Unified Messaging solutions for the client and its partner organisations.
- Collaborate with other teams to implement service and system monitoring, alerting and reporting of the Lync service
- Collaborate with other teams to define and develop documented procedures
- Stand-by services during weekends, official holidays and outside business hours if required.

You should have the following skills:

- Proven Microsoft Lync2010, Lync 2013 and Microsoft Active Directory experience.
- Experience in designing, deploying and testing Microsoft Lync in expanded configuration with Edge Servers, Directors and hardware load-balancing.
- Designing, deploying and testing MS Lync in telephony service configuration with ancillary systems such as telephony gateways and PBX systems.
- Windows administration and Scripting including experience.
- Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, Quintum/NET and Exchange Unified Messaging would be helpful.
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2013.
- Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Microsoft Lync 2010 Configuring (MCTS) or Core Solutions of Microsoft Lync Server 2013 certification (MCP).
- Microsoft Lync 2010 Professional (MCITP) or Enterprise Voice & Online Services with Microsoft Lync Server 2013 certification (MCP).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Able to work as freelancer in Spain or via suitable means.
