We are looking for our international customer in The Hague, Netherlands for a 6 month contract a Lucene developer with the following skills:
Excellent technical experience within:
-
Programming languages: Java (JDK 6+), CSS;

Search technologies: Lucene 4.x;
-
Experience in extending Lucene functionality with custom collectors, analysers, and in implementing custom queries;
-
Web technologies: Servlets 2.4+;
-
Web services: JAX-WS and JAX-RS (Resteasy), good understanding of REST principles;
-
Operating Systems: Unix/Linux (SLES 10), Bash and GNU/Linux command line
Knowledge and experience in the following technologies is of advantage:
-
Knime;
-
Antlr, JFlex;
-
Elasticsearch;
-
XML-related technologies: JAXB 2.x, XSD, XSL
General requirements:
-
Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English;
-
Strong organisational skills to work under pressure and prioritise tasks based on business severity and impact.
