LTE Program Manager - Large Telco - 6 Month Contract

AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED LTE PROGRAM MANAGER TO JOIN A GLOBALLY RECOGNISED TELCO GIANT FOR AN INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT. LEADING A TEAM OF HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PROFESSIONALS, OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A LTE PROGRAM MANAGER WITH A STRONG TELCO BACKGROUND WHO HAS A STRONG BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DELIVERY PROCESS, APPLICABLE LAWS & REGULATIONS, AND WHO THRIVES WHILST MANAGING MULTIPLE PROJECTS AT A TIME.

Managing projects across the APAC region, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete Project Organisation, managing the customer and internal stakeholder's expectations, driving the creation of the department strategy, completing cost & risk analysis, prioritising & allocating available resources, establishing and maintaining internal communication and implementing program governance.

To ensure your continued success in this role, you will need at least 10 years project experience within the telecommunications sector within a large, nationally recognised organisation, a strong background in LTE and mobile telecommunications is a must, two years experience working as a Program Manager and demonstrable experience managing multiple projects concurrently whilst leading a diverse project team. Additionally, outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to develop and mentor others and a strong business & financial understanding is essential.

An undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is essential, with an MBA with Operations Management considered if your experience is less than that highlighted above. Additionally, professional certifications including Telecom Management Forum and/or PMI are highly desirable.

This is a contract for an initial 6 months with the view to extend. The successful candidate can expect to receive a daily pay rate of approximately $750 - $820 p/day, inclusive superannuation, with the view to commence immediately.
