LTE Optimisation & Integration Engineer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Contract: To Dec 31st 2013
Rate: €Competitive
Our client, a leading global telecommunications supplier, are looking to recruit a number of LTE Engineers to join their team in Brussels, Belgium, on a contract basis.
The role will be responsible for the following:
- Analysing drivetest results (Nemo & Actix for drivetest analysis) and counters from PRS to release the acceptance document after corrective actions
- Investigating network performance, based on analysis of drive tests results, clients complaints, performance indicator etc.
- Issuing, discussing and/or implementing optimisation recommendations for network improvement
- Follow-up & reporting of new 4G Site integration
- Preparation and implementation of declaration & integration batch with the different templates/parameters (3G & 4G)
- Inconsistencies checks on level of neighbour declaration. Focus missing neighbour's between different technologies.
Top be considered for this role, you will require the following skills and experience:
- Fluency in English and Dutch or French, (Both written and spoken), is essential
- Excellent knowledge of LTE equipment and parameters on Radio Level for site integration and optimisation. Huawei equipment knowledge is essential.
- Strong knowledge and experience of other technologies (2G & 3G)
- Knowledge and experience of the following tools:
* Asset (simulation tool)
* Nemo (drivetest tool) and Actix (analyses)
* Mapinfo
* M2000 - CME
* PRS Huawei and counters
* Excel & Access
