LTE L2 SYSTEM ENGINEER
Layer 2 (L2) engineer with systems knowledge required for a long term R&D assignment by a global networking and telecommunications multinational.
This can be either a 6 or 12 month contract, with a market leading rate on offer.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years system design for Layer 2
- Deep knowledge of LTE, UMTS or GSM
- Expert in radio resource management (RRM) and scheduling algorithms
- Layer 2 implementation as well as architectural design
ABOUT THE POSITION
- You will take on responsibility for next generation baseband system and architecture acting as a key member of the baseband team for wireless baseband systems on multiple processors.
- You will be working closely with other baseband engineers, algorithms developers and SW & HW designers.
- Your responsibilities will include defining requirements, driving technical studies and coordinating work between different teams.
