LTE DSP SENIOR ENGINEER
LEUVEN, BELGIUM
6-12 MONTH CONTRACT (EXTENDABLE)
THE COMPANY
ConSol Partners customer is a 4G chipmaker and leading provider of single-mode LTE chipset solutions to wireless device manufacturers worldwide. The team comprises expertise in wireless, systems, silicon, software, complex ASIC design, advanced signal processing, MAC protocol, scheduling algorithms, RFIC, and MIMO. THE ROLE
-Design of new algorithms and defining new architectures for the PHY layer of LTE chipsets
-Implementation and validation of methods in the baseband LTE simulator of the DSP team
-Preparing and updating the design documents along with development process
-Debugging and integration phase of the LTE solution together with the ASIC and integration team
-Supporting the ASIC team for the Verilog/VHDL implementation
THE INDIVIDUAL
-BSc or MSc in Telecommunication/Electronics or equivalent
-10+ years' experience in telecommunications and/or Embedded system industry
-Strong background in signal processing/digital communication is a MUST
-Great knowledge and experience in C/C++
-Knowledge in 3GPP LTE specifications and ASIC and DSP implementation is a plus
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and team oriented with great communication skills (fluent in English, French is a plus) and interest in challenges of new technologies and novel algorithms.
