THE COMPANY
Our client is one of the largest telecommunications companies globally and at the forefront of their industry constantly expanding and looking for a new individual to add to their team. You would be part of a team doing ground breaking work into 5G technology and a fantastic opportunity to add this experience to your CV whilst it is new.
THE ROLE
As a LTE/5G baseband specialist within the company you will have excellent experience working on layer 1 (physical layer) and layer 2 (scheduling layer). This individual will take on challenges to develop multi-standard solutions for the next generation wireless products.

You will be responsible for the physical layer and layer 2 scheduling system and architecture design for LTE and 5G wireless standards

Define requirements, design features, drive technical studies, and coordinate works between different teams.

Work closely with physical algorithm developers, L2 scheduler algorithm developers, SW designers.
THE INDIVIDUAL

Experience in physical layer system design for LTE and UMTS, or experience in layer 2 system design for LTE

Knowledge of physical layer algorithms

Knowledge of LTE layer 2 algorithms

Knowledge of physical layer architectural design and SW implementation or L2 SW implementation.
