LPG & Natural Gas Utilisation Specialist

The client a leading contractor advising the local gas operator now need an engineering specialist with LPG/Natural Gas expertise to join them on a one year contract in their Abu Dhabi office. The main focus in the role will be: •To carry out research, identify, gather and review the Standards, Specifications and common practices adopted internationally for Gas services in Buildings and if there is any limitation or restriction of gas utilisation. • To review, assess, amend, update and propose the best Standards and Code of Practice that could be adopted and applied for the existing and new NG/LPG&SNG gas installation pipe-works in buildings and in customer premises. • To review, assess, update and propose the best Standards and Code of Practice that could be adopted and applied for the existing and new LPG&SNG plant and or farm. • Liaison with the ESMA, Civil Defence, DMA, and ADNOC Distribution to propose, discuss and agree best standards and Code of Practice for Gas In building. • To update, develop specifications, design criteria and guideline in accordance with adopted standards and specifications together with industry best practice and HSE standards. Suitable candidates will have a minimum ten years post graduate experience of similar works, be aware of international codes & standards, such as NFPA, European codes, BS codes etc. You MUST and be available within a short time frame.
