Low Latency Trading Senior Network Engineer - HFT/Prop House

Salary: Negotiable. Cash Package potential in excess of £100k, considered case by case.

A leading global high frequency trading house is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer to take a leading role in the design, development and maintenance of global networks, low latency solutions and network/exchange connectivity.

Key Areas/Ideal Skills:

* CCIE standard/level skills in network design, engineering and high level troubleshooting.
* Complex Networking Projects
* Cisco Nexus/nx-os/iOS, Arista and Routing protocols: BGP, ospf, msdp and pim
* Strong Multicast experience
* Good knowledge of financial networking, including exchange connectivity, low latency platforms and the ability to work with traders and front office technologists.

Ideally the candidate will have experience working in a HFT/Prop trading or electronic/algo trading house/investment banking infrastructure team. The organisation are growing, have offices across the globe and are a market leader in the HFT/Prop Trading arena. The trading house does not have an overly corporate attitude and the office environment is relaxed with a no suit policy. The engineer will get exposure across the business and work with extremely intelligent, innovative traders and technologists, ensuring that the technology and trading platforms are cutting edge and always a couple of steps ahead of competition.
