Low Latency Network Architect - HFT -Chicago I am looking for an experienced Low latency network architect with excellent corporate, client service provider experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture/design of low latency networking infrastructure with a heavy focus on Multicasting, BGP, and VRF. My client is looking for highly intelligent, creative and entrepreneurial technologists that have excellent communication skills and are used to being in a client-facing role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for timely solving of tier 3 and4 tickets, the mentoring of the network engineers on your team, and research into new, innovative networking technologies. Your profile: - BSc in computing science - Either Cisco or Juniper (or both) certified, preferably CCIE / JNCIA level - At least 4 years of network architecture experience in low latency environments; trading, telco, or other - You have worked in a service provider capacity before - Excellent scripting skills; Perl, Bash, Python - Strong open source experience - Exceptionally strong communication skills My client is offering you an amazingly open, entrepreneurial and technically innovative company culture to work in.
