Lotus Notes Messaging Specialist

My client a well known managed service company is seeking an experienced Lotus Notes Messaging Specialist! The role will predominately be based in Melbournes Eastern Suburbs onsite for a prestigious financial client.

As a member of a team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of services within the Service Levels. The role requires taking ownership of the end to end user support of the infrastructure and working in a collaborative manner with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of those services.

The Messaging Specialist is responsible for problem, incident, request and change management delivery and ensuring that those services provided to customers meet the SLA objectives and engender a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

- 2nd and 3rd level support for Lotus Notes/Domino
- Lotus Notes/Domino Administration
- Responsible for ensuring/maintaining the technical integrity of the messaging environment
- Liaise with dependent areas for changes impacting the Messaging environment.
- Review and maintain messaging and collaborated objects standards to ensure currency
- Creativity and judgment applied to professional, technical, or operational problems
- Responsible for personal development to meet business requirements.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned
- May provide Technical Quality Assurance reviews for any Messaging related Statements of Work.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of problem management activities involving root cause analysis and any activities resulting from the outcome of those investigations including remediation
- Responsible for incident, request and change management to be completed in a timely manner, accurately and according to service level agreements
- Responsible for the identification of security exposures, risks and mitigation. Also, responsible for the completion of Security compliance activities in an accurate and timely manner
- Responsible for the creation, modification and review of technical process documents to be able to deliver at a high level the engaged services to support the account(s).

The suitable candidate will have the following experience:

- Previous experience and proven background in a Lotus Notes Messaging environment
- In Depth knowledge of Lotus Domino
- In Depth Knowledge of Blackberry (4.x or 5.x)
- General platform specific skills
- Certifications for the Messaging product are highly desirable.
