Great opportunity exists to work for a mining client as a senior support officer you will be required to provide first and second level onsite and remote support to users.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- 1st and 2nd Level support
- Troubleshooting general LAN/WAN printer security Internet issues
- Record, track and document the service desk incident management process
- Good time management skills and work in a fast paced environment
- Prioritise incidents and ensure the timely escalation to 2nd/3rd level support groups
- Participation in broader IT team initiatives along with assistance with IT projects may be required

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experience with Lotus Notes essential
- Minimum 3 years experience in IT helpdesk role within a windows network environment
- Strong skills in working with Windows XP, Windows 7, SOE deployment and MS Office suite
- Experience working with MS Active Directory, Wintel, Lotus Notes, Dell Hardware
- Experience with Cisco call manager or IP telephony
- Experience and knowledge of networks with special focus on PC, Lan and Wan interoperations
- Server experience desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of ITIL incident management framework
- Experience working with Blackberry enterprise server
