Looking for Quality Control Inspector in Andover, MA (Direct Client)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

EDUCATION:

- High-school/Associates or equivalent experience if applicable.
- IPC 610 certification is required.

EXPERIENCE:

- 2-5 years of experience specializing in IPC 610 Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) inspection. SMT inspection experience preferred.

DESCRIPTION:

- Detail oriented person with ability to discuss inspection results and trends with technicians and engineers, Candidate will enter data into SAP and reject boards that do not meet written inspection criteria.
- Must be competent at detailed technical inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies including solder, solder joints, part orientation and lead co-planarity.
- Specific inspection at specific reference designators is also required.
- It is also preferred that the candidate be familiar with the use of verniers, micrometers, comparators and other mechanical measurement equipment.
- This should include a general understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerances and blue print/drawing reading.
