Looking for Financial Analyst in Houston, TX (Direct Client)

TITLE: FINANCIAL ANALYST

LOCATION: HOUSTON, TX

DURATION: 6 MONTHS

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Primary contact for Distributed Power Account Reconciliation cycle
- Communicate and ensure Account Reconciliation deadlines are met and open items are cleared timely
- Administer the Account Reconciliation Tool
- Track and drive resolution of unreconciled accounts
- Own reconciliation metrics
- Liason with Global Ops Finance (GOF) on reconciliations performed in the GOF reconciliation tool
- Provide reconciliation training and support to the broader Finance team.
- Monitor and drive resolution of aged Payables accruals for good received for which an invoice has not been received
- Leverage indirect sourcing tools to support the Finance team with purchasing.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

- Educated to degree level in accounting or finance - Minimum 5 years Accounting/Controllership experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting, measurements & reporting systems
- Organized and able to manage multiple demands
- Strong sense of accountability - to ensure key deadlines are met
- Assertive and able to influence multiple stakeholders
- Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ambiguous situations.
