JOB DESCRIPTION:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Expertise with latest versions of Netbackup & OpsCenter
- Experience with using and developing Backup Reporting tools.
- Good understanding of general storage concepts.
- Good understanding of network concepts.
- Experience with RedHat Linux operating systems
- Good understanding of databases and virtual infrastructure
- Scripting of tools for the purposes of task automation
- Scripting skills in PERL or a similar tool
- Excellent documentation, presentation & communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to understand impact of individual solutions/components on the larger end-to-end environment.
- Vertices, Netapp, Vmware & Database experience as it relates to backups is a plus.
