Looking for a Software Developer

For one of our high tech clients in the Eindhoven area, the Netherlands we are currently looking for a Software developer who has experience with .NET frameworks and Agile/Scrum.

As a Software Developer you will act as fast learning software professional and team player, contributing to software realization using a disciplined agile/scrum based way of working. You are proficient in software engineering using C#, and eager to invest in picking up metrology functions' domain knowledge. You will report to the group manager.

The main responsibilities are:
General. Software realization, including designing, testing and documenting. Demonstrate end-to-end ownership for feature/story based software engineering. Includes securing of both software and product quality. Align specifications with stakeholders in the function team and the software platform lead. Ensure adequate fit of software deliverables in the software platform. Transfer knowledge to colleagues in both D&E and sectors supporting operations (eg CS). Contribute proactively to continuous improvement of our Agile software development process Function cluster specific. Sensing: ensure adequate realization of the software contribution to this optics/mechatronics oriented function. Affinity with optics and image processing required.

FAFI:
Ensure adequate realization of automation and presentation of the system via SEMI standard interfaces such as SECS.

OV/CD/DBF:
Ensure adequate realization of the software contribution to the application function. Requires affinity with mathematics, algorithm design, and workflow.

Education
BSc or MSc degree in computer science, informatics, mathematics, physics, or electronics.

Experience
8 years in development of technical software.
4 years of experience with Agile/scrum.
Extensive experience with pair programming is a pro.
4 years of experience with C#.
Up to date knowledge of and experience with recent versions of the .NET framework.

Personal skills
Team player.
Candidate must be able to work in a cross-disciplinary scrum team in a dynamic product development environment.
Good communicational skills (both written and verbal) and good knowledge of English.
Strong analytical view combined with pragmatic attitude (flexibility).
Knowledge of Object Oriented Design patterns and UML.
Curious, fast learning
