For one of our high tech clients in the Eindhoven area we are currently looking for a buyer with 3-5 years experience in procurement or supply chain management. The salary indication for this role is based on 3-5 years work experience. Candidates from the Eindhoven area are preferred.

Introduction
Ensure effective and efficient execution of the operational procurement activities by arranging adequate material supply, resolving operational purchasing issues and ensuring master data control.

Job Mission
Maintains independently the relationship with suppliers and is responsible for Quality, Logistics, Technology and total Cost performance of local suppliers.
- Manages Cost of Goods programs with local suppliers
- Manage Order handling in line with factory and service demand to secure timely material availability
- Request quotes and check against contracts to secure compliancy
- Support improvements to state-of-the-art procurement processes supported by IT systems
- Develop and maintain master data after approval to ensure all data is up-to-date and drive efficient work
- Drive and maintain periodical and ad hoc operational reports
- Build and maintain a network with internal customers within Logistics, Development, Customer Support and Finance; as well as a network with external suppliers
- Pro-actively detect issues in the organization related to procured goods and services.

REPORTS TO: Manager Global Operational Procurement
MANAGES: Local Suppliers and Operational procurement processesl
INTERFACES: D&E, M&P, CS, Finance, Legal, Suppliers
QLTC: Manage independently the performance of local suppliers

Operational Procurement:
Ensure operational procurement activities are effectively and efficiently completed in support of arranging adequate material supply within a supportive supplier's network.
Maintain effective contact with suppliers to secure rapid resolution of operational purchasing issues.

Material Availability: Manage the execution of material ordering, in order to ensure timely availability of required materials within boundary conditions.

Operational Support: Execute operational and tactical activities for own supplier portfolio within the company.
Maintain integrity and accuracy of operational procurement processes and databases according defined KPIs.

Reporting: Driving and maintaining the operational reports related to supplier rating and procurement performance.

Technology: Support availability of state-of-the-art procurement processes supported by IT systems. Internal relationships: Develop and maintain a close working relationship with internal customers assuring they receive appropriate Procurement support to agreed service levels.

Education
Graduate+ or Bachelor (HBO) level Fluent in English spoken and written, preferably also in German

Experience
3- 5 years experience in procurement or supply chain management
