Long term Part time contract for SAP MM/SRM consultant
My client, large end-user client currently working on the roll-out of their SAP in Belgium is urgently looking for an experienced SAP functional consultant for an immediate part time (50%) contract with clear visibility until end-of year minimum.
You will manage the rollout of a global template while ensuring local business needs are met :
- Are the SAP expert for Purchasing modules/Functionalities (MM/SRM)
- Give recommendations on the best direction and options to meet local requirements while considering the boundaries of the global template
- Drive discussions on the technical solution to be implemented
- Write the SAP blueprint(s) of the solution to be implemented, document all gaps, follow-up gap resolution
- Report, document and follow-up issues in agreement with project management
- Write all functional specifications related to needed interfaces with Legacy
- Define and execute test scenarios
- Provide support to the users during user acceptance testing
- Perform Key User training
- Report project progress to the Project Manager
- Execute deliverables in line with project plan
- Ensure the overall quality is consistent with standards and align to global template
- Coordinate data collection and data cleansing activities
We are looking for an experienced and hands on Senior SAP SRM/MM consultant
- SAP expertise (hands on experience) with SAP MM (Purchasing) and SRM (min. 5 years) and integration with FI. Workflow knowledge is a plus
- Experience as a Lead SAP expert consultant role for modules MM Purchasing and SRM
- Strong knowledge of procurement management processes
- Able to understand the business details while required to align to a global template
- Speaking, reading and writing English & French - Trilingual (+Dutch) preferred
- Natural communicator, speaks business procurement language
- With proven working experiences in Benelux, preferably with interactions in France
- knowledge of Oracle Purchasing is a strong plus
- Acquainted with Project/program management techniques and methodologies (ie. PMP, Prince2...)
