Logistic Coordinator (m/w)

Task description:
* Responsible for managing the Warehousing, Distribution and Returns processes for Germany office.
* Budget responsibility for all Germany office Logistics operations (forward & reverse, including warehousing, transport and distribution for all product categories).
* Support the optimization and development of the operational and financial logistics service in Germany
* Responsible for the coordination and development of a local Logistics team. Coordinate, plan and ensure the workload capacity and availability of resources within the team. Stimulate, coach and appraise direct reports with the team. Alert and resolve any interpersonal issues within the team.
* Ensuring effective implementation of evolving customer requirements and updating SLAs in line with changed requirements.
* Provide effective and relevant operational and financial performance reporting to Director, Logistics Operations Western Europe
* Ensure that Germany provides timely operational forecasting and planning (including reverse logistics and refurbishment) to the Warehousing and repair partners
* Manage local process, policy and systems, including logistics systems reconciliation.
* Supports Director Logistics Operations Western Europe as a key driver of change within the business
* Provide and support operational requirements for any IT system designs for supporting logistics processes within the Germany logistics operations

Your profile:
* Bachelor degree, preferably in Logistics or Business administration.
* Recognized professional certification in supply chain management advantageous (e.g. APICS)
* Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing and transport management
* Experience in the management of Third and Fourth Party Logistics Providers
* Experience in managing change, business and budget impacts.
* Excellent problem solving, decision making, team work and collaboration capabilities.
* Strong understanding of Logistics process concepts and frameworks, software solutions & enabling technology
* Good working knowledge of ERP and purchasing processes and applications i.e. SAP MM, Oracle, JDE, MS Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
* Fluent in English (written and verbal) and good German
