My client, a large well known FMCG organisation is seeking a highly competent and driven ACA qualified Logistics & Supply Chain FP&A Controller to lead the Logistics finance decision support covering both investment evaluation & the management of a third Party logistics agreement. The role will also manage & oversee all aspects of Logistics financial reporting & planning.

You will also be responsible for the running and co-ordination of the end to end UK Manufacturing annual planning processes including Budget. The Individual is expected to raise the bar in terms of Supply Chain Finance Decision support, be a catalyst for driving & delivering functional change, & bring real challenge & insight to the table.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

- Provide Finance business partner decision support to UK Logistics Director covering Logistics Strategy development, finance decision support on all key Logistics initiatives, budget setting, performance management, delivery vs. plan, period reporting & analysis, forecasting.
- Provide Finance decision support to management of Logistics distribution agreement with third party with responsibility for all aspects of financial planning & reporting of the agreement, act as Finance lead on tendermanaging and coordinating the Volume planning process, Prime Cost Standard Setting process with Sites.
- Support the tracking of cost savings delivery and performance delivery vs plan working with the UK Supply Finance Team.
- Manage & develop the financial control agenda.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE

- Degree qualified with several years PQE experience in either CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
- You will be skilled Excel and SAP and have a background in Financial Planning, developing & implemented performance reporting & diagnostics.
- You will have experience providing Finance Decision support & investment evaluation and able to apply clear evaluation methods and be comfortable driving & leading change & challenging people over numbers & performance.
- You will have experience of Logistics Operations and knowledge of cost accounting.
- You will be a natural problem solver and self starter and have a pragmatic and energetic approach to leading people and deadlines.
