Logistics Planning Analyst

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate the logistics and supply chain processes for new parts being introduced to the facility, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings internally and to the supply base.
- Achieve Operational Excellence levels of performance for Packaging/Factory Logistics.
- Work with all process partners to ensure inbound material availability supports the top tier targets.
- Experience/ability to use the client's ERP system - MRP, Lognet, MTS, MCS required.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
- Minimum of three years relevant experience with supply chain processes or logistics related project management experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods is a plus.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
- Knowledge/Experience in Material Planning, Purchasing, Part distribution, inventory control, or logistics required.
- In depth understanding of supply base utilization required.
- Previous ERP system experience/ability to use - MRP, Lognet, MTS, MCS still required, however, does not have to be Client experience- Desired.
- Candidates need to have knowledge of systems used, but expert level not required as they can be trained
- Quick learner and ultimately self-sufficient.
