JOB DESCRIPTION:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure execution to planned orders and schedules. Resolve issues with suppliers to ensure material availability for facility production. Work with facility production schedulers and operations personnel to support facility production and point of use material availability. Ensure alignment of facility inventory accuracy and inventory systems planning parameters.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensures timely delivery of materials to the facility, collaborating with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, shipping schedules and work schedules to meet facility production plans.
- Using supplier collaboration technologies, collaborate with suppliers and operations to plan delivery of material for production, perform root cause corrective actions to resolve quality and supplier performance issues.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED:

- Strong clerical background. Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.

PREFERRED:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience. Ability to work independently and manage one's time.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
