Logistics Planning Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing work to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.
Support expanded mining process partners in new part number set-ups.
Review authorizations, releasing, and supporting data to determine part characteristics.
Determine material codes based on Global Purchasing requirements.
Review supplier information and determine correct bill of distribution.
Communicate with process partners to resolve issues.
Utilize data from multiple sources to improve process velocity and accuracy.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
College or university degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Mathematics.
Knowledge of standard supply chain systems.
Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work across functions to perform work deploying supply chain improvements.
Requires problem-solving and analytical skills to solve common problems.
Must be a strong team player in order to be effective in deploying supply chain improvements as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, including Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP function)
