Logistics Manager - Herkenbosch - 3 Months

LOGISTICS MANAGER - HERKENBOSCH - 3 MONTHS

My client has an urgent 3 month contract opportunity for a Logistics Manager to be based in Herkenbosch.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the Planning Department and Department logistics field and will need to have experience relevant to the job specification detailed below:

JOB PURPOSE:

Leads the division Logistics, develops and implements logistics policy on the site.

NATURE OF THE ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manages the Logistics and Field Service Planning
- Coaching staff
- Ensure that there is a continuous improvement in the performance of the team and the processes
- Entering and guarantors of change
- Managed and monitored the costs within the Logistics budget

PLANNING AND PROCESSES:

- Sets the priorities of the work of the department.
- To carry Monitoring and ensuring the established reliability to customers (OTIF) on the quality of plans within the department at the appropriate level.
- Manage stock levels required
- Ensure optimum utilization of the production units by planning the most optimal EOQ programs.
- Ensures reliable stock registration in SAP both IM and WM.
- WMS system stay healthy and reliable, both registration and the hardware used.
- Ensure optimal utilization of the internal warehouses.
- Management OffSpec products. Ensures that these will be scheduled ASAP to work or leave.
- Handling Return To Works (RTW's).
- Managing subcontractors such as external packers and external storage
