Logistics Expert

Logistics Expert wanted for our Basel based client in the pharma sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Technical or business education, preferably in Supply Chain with at least 2 years' experience within Supply Chain logistics
- Working experience of freight forwarding, material movement within Supply Chain and commercial expertise
- Strong background in logistics with excellent communication and organization skills and know-how in stakeholder management
- Flexible team player with solid understanding of SAP
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Driving physical material flow from the manufacturing sites and the further rollout of e-carrier system into the CPO to ensure KEAB and paperless logistics is rolled out globally
- Being the single contact person for forwarders, airlines and agents in case of issues and problems during global material movement
- Performing all operational logistics tasks in SAP ERP for material movements through the global hub in Switzerland to 120 countries
- Executing documents for Letter of Credit Business as well as ensuring all related documents are in full compliance with bank requirements
- Developing and implementing KPIs to measure own supply and 3rd party performance along with stakeholder management for 60+ partners
