Logistics Coordinator - SAP Experience

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

START DATE: ASAP - CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START WITHIN 1 WEEK OR LESS.

The Logistics Coordinator executes orders for all products and services included in the contract (eg frame agreements). The Logistics Coordinator function works in the Order Management process with customer orders and material procurement.

The job supports customer contracts regarding supply activities in the execution and follow-up phases of the deliveries and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. The main purpose of the job is to contribute to an efficient execution of the order handling.

THE MOST TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF THE TASKS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

- Reviewing customer purchase orders - placing customer PO's in SAP, Raising vendor purchase orders.
- Monitoring deliveries to warehouse
- Goods Receipting vendor invoices
- Invoicing customers

IN ADDITION CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- SOME FINANCE KNOWLEDGE - ESSENTIAL
- SAP KNOWLEDGE - ESSENTIAL
- END TO END SUPPLY KNOWLEDGE - ESSENTIAL
- Confident dealing with project managers, warehouse staff, finance and external vendors.

Working pattern: Monday - Friday, full standard working hours.

This position is a contract role working for a global telecoms vendor that is initially until 31st December 2015 with lots of possibility for extention.
