Logistics Co-Ordinator

Logistics Co-ordinator- East Midlands

Amoria Bond are currently looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator initially on a 6 month contract basis for a major engineering client.
The successful Logistics Co-ordinator will be working on a large scale project which will run for at least 12 months. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for providing support with identifying planned routes for haulage, co-ordinating planned deliveries and collections within the project boundaries and ensuring safe operations for the deliveries.

The successful Logistics Co-ordinator can expect to do the following:

* Implement the delivery plans for all deliveries
* Coordinate with multi-discipline construction teams for deliveries and collections
* Ensure haulage is suitable for loads being arranged
* Ensure the planned routes are adequate and feedback any issues that may require alterations to the plan
* Identify any site constraints for access and egress of vehicles and resolve as necessary
* Coordinate with Traffic Management teams on site to ensure planned arrangements are in place for deliveries as required
* Ensure the works are undertaken safely in line with Project documentation

Key skills and requirements for the role include:-
* Experience of Microsoft Office Software
* Experience of haulage deliveries
* Experience in the movement and transportation of abnormal loads and lifting operations
* Local knowledge of main highway routes
* Versatility, professionalism, time management skills
* Good audit and record keeping skills as well as attention to details
* Interpersonal and communication skills
* Driving licence (essential)
