Logistics and Supplier Coordinator

Our client based on the outskirts of Peterborough are currently seeking a Logistics and Supplier Coordinator to join them on an initial 6 month contract. This is a highly varied and demanding role and is incredibly customer focussed. The successful applicant will ideally come from a strong logistics or supplier relations background and will be use to juggling a demanding workload.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate customer and supplier movements
- Allocate correct stock from correct suppliers
- Arrange/Organise logistics for a range of products
- Source cost effective haulage solutions
- Frequent communication with suppliers
- Problem solving
- Support internal departments

The successful applicant must have a minimum of 1 years experience of working within a fast paced customer focussed environment. An understanding of logistics/scheduling is highly desirable. For more information please apply directly.
