Logistics Analyst - Beerse - Euros 41/PerHour
This role is highly focused on process design, aiming to harmonize and improve Distribution processes in The EMEA Clusters.
He/she will be required to identify best practices, opportunities for improvement and then propose the best process design and partner with the regional leaders to implement these new standards.
A Lean approach will be required to ensure processes are smooth, effective, efficient and compliant. He/she will support new process implementation once the design is approved. For this purpose he/she will act as a project leader, using the proper techniques as FPX. For this purpose he/she will also define proper KPI's as part of the design.
Though this is role will have a cross sector reach, the initial focus will be on the Consumer (FMCG) and Medical Device Business.
More specifically he/she will:
Collect data and information on current processes with the support of the Process Analyst: he/she will participate to process mapping and gemba walks;
In case of new process he/she will work strictly in contact with the New Standard issuing body as well as with the operational Organizations;
Elaborate flows for materials, define resource requirement, calculate costs (implementation and running costs);
Select and implement appropriate KPI's to monitor process performance;
Lead projects for implementing new processes;
Interact effectively with the rest of the Organization, with an end to end approach, to ensure integration among the functional area and that all requirements are met;
Interact with other critical functions (QA/HR(EHS) to ensure compliance;
Elaborate financial analysis to be validated by the Finance to ensure profitability of the initiative.
Technical competency requirements:
Strong communication skills
Advanced technological aptitude (especially with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems)
Consultative approach in providing logistics expertise and recommendations
Balances short and long term challenges with the ability to focus on key initiatives
Has confidence in themselves and in others
Strongly focused on team working with the ability to work independently

Non Technical Skills and Additional Details
University Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering
Lean Green Belt certification
Experience in this specific role or experience in running warehousing operations
Project Management certification
