Logistics Analyst

Responsible for the administration of the inventory planning and materials management functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1) Responsible for all or most of the following: Inventory planning, master scheduling, materials handling, inventory turnover, customer service levels, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls at all distribution facilities.
2) Responsible for the operation of company owned or leased warehouses.
3) Manages the supply and demand activities products across business units.
4) Creates and recommends strategies to maximize the effective management of materials.
5) Assist in the development of long and short -term objectives to ensure that programs and efforts are directed toward achieving company goals.
6) May initiate corrective action to assure objectives are met.
7) Participates in the development of goals and budgets for area of responsibility.
8) Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
9) Exercises judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
10) Contributes to the company's compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function.
11) Participate in the development of goals and budgets for area of responsibility.
12) Work on complex issues where analysis of situation or data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong data analyst and process improvement skills
- Meeting facilitation and cross functional team management
- BS Degree required with 5+ years experience
- Supply chain logistics, demand planning and replenishment would be ideal
