Lodestar Analyst/Developer (Oracle Utilities) - Brussels
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle Utilities: Quotations Management.
- At least 5 years of experience as Analyst/Developer.
- Basic experience in web development. Being able to autonomously perform targeted searches online for required knowledge & solutions.
- Functional knowledge about the energy utilities sector in general. More specifically pricing and quotation for the BtB market for consumption, production & trading of electricity & gas and for energy related services.
- Knowledge of the Oracle Utilities industry solution, formerly known as Lodestar. More specifically the module Quotations Management.
- Knowledge of Lodestar Rules Language.
- Web development skills: HTML, ASP, JavaScript, XML
- VBScript
- Oracle Database skills: Oracle 10g R2, SQL (DDL, DML), PL/SQL, DB job scheduling, SQL Developer.
- General: MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
Role
- Work autonomously on deliverables through all phases of a project: impact analysis, functional design, technical design, development, unit testing, system integration testing, supporting business acceptance testing, plan & execute release, training & knowledge transfer and after care.
- Build up a cooperative relationship with business key users to assemble, refine and prioritize business requirements.
- Keep track of own workload and estimate to complete and report timely on these.
- Able to define multiple solutions to a problem, listing advantages & disadvantages for each solution.
- Work in a team, actively seeking and giving feedback. Consulting team members for finding & weighting optimal solutions.
- Create & maintain clear structured, comprehensible and complete project design & documentation documents.
- Create & maintain clear structured, comprehensible and complete application design & documentation documents.
- Create relevant and comprehensible test scenarios for unit & system integration testing.
