my client in Melbourne metro is looking for a full time Grade OT in their inpatient team

A) Relevant tertiary qualifications in the field of Occupational Therapy, current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA, eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Occupational Therapy, and a current unrestricted drivers licence (recognised in Australia).

To work autonomously with a minimum of direct supervision in an environment of competing clinical and administrative need
To demonstrate competence across a wide range of complex diagnostic groups

Key Accountabilities:
environmental settings in line with the occupational therapy rehabilitation competencies
Assessment of client's self-maintenance, productivity and leisure performance to determine treatment necessary
Assessment of client's functioning in physical, psychosocial and cognitive/perceptual components
Assess and retrain clients in activities of daily living to involve patients/family/carers in client management by education and goal setting.
Evaluate and modify treatment plan as necessary.
To participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of occupational
therapy services including attendance at clinical meetings, case conferences.

Where appropriate, facilitate provision of service to allow clients/carers to continue community living
To demonstrate high level of knowledge and accountability in the assessment, prescription and recommendation for the provision of home modifications and/or assisting equipment
