Projektbeschreibung

The post-holder will equally share histopathology, non-gynaecological cytopathology and adult permission autopsy workload with the other consultant histopathologists working at other site. The work is presently divided on a daily rota basis. In addition he/she will be expected to have or develop a specialist interest and take a departmental lead or shared lead in one or more specialities. Specialities provided by the department include respiratory pathology, breast pathology, upper and lower gastrointestinal pathology, gynaecology, head and neck and endocrine pathology, urological pathology and dermatopathology. Sufficient time will be allocated for reporting of non-cervical cytology.

Job plan is 8.5 clinical PAs of laboratory/autopsy duties worked flexibly according to the needs of the service and 1.5 PAs for supporting activities.
