Locum Consultant Cardiologist - Midlands - Ongoing Position

AWARD WINNING AGENCY Medilink Consulting are currently recruiting on behalf of a Large NHS Trust in the Midlands for a Locum Consultant Cardiologist.

Job Title: Locum Consultant Cardiologist

Hours: 10 PA plus potential on call element.

Duties: This post holder will provide cardiology care to patients. Responsibilities will include assessment of patients on the cardiology ward, training of junior staff, teaching medical students, reviewing inpatient referrals and liaison with GPs. In addition, the candidate will be expected to be involved with service development, particularly pacing services.

In line with the move towards 7 day services in the NHS it is expected that the successful candidate would provide some weekend work. This may be of the order of one weekend ward round per month.

Job Requirements: Full GMC with a license to practice and able to work as a Consultant in the UK.
