Localization Translation Support Engineer

The SUPPORT ENGINEER position within Localization Translation Management will assist the team in the management and maintenance of 3rd party Translation Management System, WorldServer. The Engineer will be part of a team of highly skilled Developers and will directly to contribute to helping the team ensure a great customer experience. The Engineer will work directly with internal customers to resolve any issues they have with WorldServer. Focus will be on fixing the root cause of issues and will require the ability to write code in Java, Unix Shell Scripts, and SQL.

This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to dive deep on issues, and a focus on customer satisfaction. You will be the face of the Localization Translation Management team for all things dealing with WorldServer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work directly with internal customers to answer questions and resolve issues related to WorldServer
- Work directly with the team, participate in scrums, and help us deliver a great customer experience
- Dive deep into issues to look for the root cause
- Develop scripts and code (Java, Unix Shell, SQL) to fix the root cause of issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Java, Unix Shell, and SQL
- A passion for solving problems
- Exceptional customer support focus and skills
- Experience working pragmatically under deadlines with operational software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with WorldServer
- Knowledge of localization and internationalization
- Multilingual (any language along with English)

This contract opportunity is expected to be 6 months in duration.
