Localization Engineer

Emagine is seeking and experienced Localization SW engineer for our client, the world's leading Travel Software Company. The Localization Service team ensures the process of translating application deliverables, and are involved in process analysis, coordination and improvements by implementing and integrating tools to automate the Localization process. The Localization Software Engineer will help to automate the process of integrating the translation process into the application development. They will evaluate existing internal and external solutions and design, and specify and implement a cost effective tooling with the team. The position requires technical competences in several application domains including: Internationalization Architecture, Graphical User Interfaces, Database and Data transformation, process automation.

ACTIVITIES:
- Analyze current software development and testing processes.
- Design and propose tools and methods to integrate the Localization/Translation process.
- Monitor and evaluate external methods, technology and tools.
- Customize external solutions to meet internal needs.
- Develop, implement and maintain new methods, processes and tools.

YOU NEED:
University degree in Computer Science or related field 3 years + in Software development 1 year+ in Localization/Internationalization. English: fluent written & spoken Consulting and Project Management skills TECHNICAL SKILLS: Database design & development Data extraction and transformation Urbanization/Tool development MS SQL server, Postgre, XMLDB .NET C#, Java Scripting languages: Ruby, Powershell, Groovy, XML/XSL, Regular Expressions Sharepoint Methodologies: CMMI, RUP, Agile, PMP You should be able to commit to a long-term position This is a good opportunity to work with a world leading development organisation, with a dynamic and innovative environment, and an attractive location.
