CBP OPERATIONS

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Proactively manage the day to day work flows of the Agent (eg drawdowns/rollovers/waivers/covenants) and ensure that these are managed in an accurate, timely and professional manner whilst ensuring that the control environment remains robust.

Ensure that a collaborative working environment is achieved and maintained at all times with the originating business, syndications and various support departments.

CORE TASKS & MATERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (WHAT IS THE ROLE RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR DELIVERING)

- Provide day to day processing support for the London agency team (including drawdowns/rollovers/repayments/rate fixings/interest payments/fee payments)
- Deliver an accurate and high quality product in a controlled and documented environment.
- Ensure that the role performed by the agency team conforms to conditions of the relevant agreement and the internal policies and procedures are adhered to
- Build a close and collaborative working relationship with the Syndications Front Office group and originating businesses.
- Build a good working relationship with external clients and ensure that the client receives at all times a professional and friendly service
- Ensure that the London agency team is approachable, consistent and pragmatic with our dealings with other support teams (namely Deal Execution in London and Deal Administration in Amsterdam)
- Reviewing loan documentation from an operability perspective and ensuring any risks are highlighted and managed.
- Ensure that the deal capture in LoanIQ for the London agency team is consistent, closed on a timely basis and complies to the agreed procedures and standards
- Ensure covenant monitoring and distribution is handled on a timely basis and any exceptions are reported on
- Processing of various agent duties including processing of secondary sales
- Preparation/execution of primary transfer documentation
- Ensure that the activities undertaken in the agency department meet the necessary Compliance controls/standards that are required within the role of agent
- Provide support as necessary to other CB Operations departments to ensure that all departmental tasks are completed within the agreed timelines
