The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- HRIS systems used are SAP and ADP. Looking for experience in one or both.
- Knowledge of CA law would be helpful; looking for a broad background.
- Need someone who can work independently but will also help to support other coordinators
What you'll Be Doing:
- Will be primary touch point for employees, from when claims are initiated until they return to work.
- Day to day responsibilities: phone work, working with vendor on short term and long term disability claims, interaction with managers and HR Business Partners.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- Three to five (3 - 5) years of experience in an HR setting.
- Looking for either a benefits backgrounds with a high touch with LOA (counseling employees, administering paperwork, designating leaves) or someone coming from a vendor - outsourcing work dealing with LOA.
- Experience with FMLA, Worker's Compensation, ADA, and the Interactive Return to Work/Accommodation process desired.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Worked within a company in a HR Role supporting around 7000 employees. Knowledge of BOTH SAP and ADP.
