Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Produce clear and accurate design documentation which matches client requirements and meets industry standards
- When possible, ensure design patterns are being followed and implemented correctly when developing solutions
- Produce clear and accurate code that complies with design documentation and that complies with internal standards
- Contribute in all aspects of the development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, implementation and support)
- Actively contribute to design and SCRUM meetings

Person Profile:
- Technical degree (or similar e.g. Microsoft Certified Application Developer)

Essential Experience
- Significant previous C# .net experience in a commercial development environment (including LINQ, generics etc)
- Excellent knowledge of RDMS most importantly SQL server 2003/2005/2008
- Good Knowledge and experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010
- Experience of working with ASP.NET Forms, MVC2/3, JQuery, HTML and CSS
- Experience of implementing Web services and WCF
- Experience working with XML/XSLT and related technologies
- Knowledge and experience of design using UML
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Experience of working under pressure and to high quality
- Creation of technical documents for both design and users
- Experience of code management software (Kiln, SourceSafe, CVS)
- Experience of using ORM tools for data access

- Well organised with the ability to prioritise where necessary
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to work indepentently or in a team
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to deliver a quality product
- Manage multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision and be proactive in contributing towards the continuous improvement of the organisation
- Ability to provide estimates and work to timescales
- Demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for the implementation of technology and biometric-based solutions.
