Litigation Lawyer

Our client, a leading UK Central Government Department is seeking a Litigation Lawyer on a contract basis to work at their London office.

This is a 12 month contract and is paying £17.05-£21.68 PAYE

KEY TASKS:

The post is located in a busy team providing litigation services to HMRC on all aspects of recovery and enforcement of direct and indirect tax, and other duties, owed to HMRC. The lawyer will be responsible for a litigation caseload involving criminal finances litigation, in particular cash forfeiture under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA), where that forfeiture relates to inland seizures
